What is a comprehensive eye exam?
A comprehensive eye exam consists of assessing the visual status of the patient's eyes,
as well as evaluation the internal and external ocular health. This includes testing for
glaucoma, cataracts, pupil reflex, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Can I wear contact lenses?
Have you been told or thought that you could not wear contacts because of dry eyes or
too much astigmatism. Those days may be over. Dr. Parks has experience fitting
difficult cases such as astigmatism, dry eyes, and bifocal contact lenses. There are
currently new contact lens designs for individuals who need multiple distances, up
close, intermediate and distance.
Although many patients are already wearing contact lenses, they are often not
completely satisfied with their current lenses. Our contact lens service centers around
meeting the needs of both the previous and new contact lens wearer. Whether you
need them for sports, work or occasionally, we can choose the best lenses for you.
What if I need new eyeglasses?
Eyeglasses should be more than just someone filling your prescription. At our office Dr.
Parks and Linda, our optician, will help you design a pair of eyeglasses that will meet
the needs of your lifestyle. Whether they're to help you see the computer or to block
out the glare of the sun, we have the answer to your problem.
Are you bothered by glare, especially at night?
